More money for heat, less money for banquets, please.

Today's high is 0°C and the wind could bite your ears off, yet the university hasn't provided heat in the classrooms or dorms since last semester.

    They turned on the heat for about 2 months at the end of last semester. Then they turned it off for the winter holiday and never turned it on again. Thank goodness for space heaters!

    (But the students don't have heat OR space heaters. They are a cold bunch.)

    Brrr! It might be cold in AK - but at least there's heat. Though Jessica and I are Hawkeye Courting it all the way... :)
