Early Morning Calcutta

I would love to tell you more about India, but it was such a rich, crazy experience that I'm not sure where to begin.  So, while I am thinking, I will share this photo from my morning walk to 6 a.m. mass at the Mother House.  It's a hand-pulled rickshaw, which are common in Calcutta (the last city in India where they are legal).  I loved the semi-quietness of this daily early morning walk; by 6 or 7 am, this street was always full of people.

I'm in Thailand now and ready for my conference to begin.  More blogging to come!
